Five further substances on authorisation list

The European Commission plans to include 5 further substances in REACH Annex XIV. Companies using these substances will then need to submit applications for authorisations to secure continued use. Companies should start early to check whether substitution is feasible and, if not, prepare for authorisation.

These substances were listed because they have either carcinogenic or endocrine disruptive properties or are toxic to reproduction.
