New research project at FoBiG on methodology to derive OELs

Recently FoBiG started a project (F2437) on behalf of the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA), which investigates the scientific basis of the derivation of occupational exposure values. The project aims at disclosing differences between current methods with the objective to contribute to method harmonization. Based on updated empirical data distributions for extrapolation factors will be determined. Further activities address new approaches such as methods for probabilistic hazard assessment.
